Tata motors has been working on the Ultra platform for past several years and has launched range of trucks and buses since 2011. Ultra being a modular platform provides immense flexibility to address various customer and segment aspirations that not only is limited to wheel base but also to cabins and engines as well. Monetizing the opportunity of modularity, Tata motors has launched a nation wide launch of Nex-Gen Ultra range of trucks with numerous combinations of day, wider and sleeper cabins, engines options ranging from 125 to 210 HP, a range of wheel bases of 3.3 to 6.8 meters, cabin widths of 1.9 to 2.1 meters, deck lengths from 12 to 32 ft. These options are integrated into various applications like tippers, reefers, containers, tankers, poultry, two wheeler carriers, municipal applications, auto logistics and many more.

Designed and developed to offer class-leading features and driving comfort, the new ULTRA range of ILCV are powerful and robust trucks ranging from 7 Ton to 16 Ton GVW with flexibility to cater to various fully build applications. Powered by futuristic and indigenous 3L and 5L Turbotronn series
engines, this new range of trucks promises to deliver superior performance, increased pay-load capacity, better fuel performance, all leading to significant increase in revenues and lowest cost of operation.
The ULTRA range is capable of meeting the Global Trucking Standards of emission, safety and features and has been tested and homologated into various geographies outside India viz. South Africa, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and many more markets. These trucks offer a true business utility vehicle for large fleet owners, captive users, fleet rental, e-commerce and logistics.

Powered by the new generation Turbotronn 3L and 5L diesel engines, the ULTRA range offers class-leading torque range from 360 to 840 Nm resulting in superlative performance, best-in-class fuel economy, lowest TCO, and industry best durability. The Ultra range comes with the widest and most reliable range of gearbox configurations in 5/6 speed in manual and AT versions. Manufactured at the Pune Plant, the entire range also comes with power steering system and front parabolic suspension for driving comfort. These new generation engines are also future ready and is scalable for BSVI norms.

  1. TML is really stepping on the gas… Its April sales has been phenomenal, this is clean sweep of product portfolio in LCV and ICV without any gaps…
    This is clearly aimed to capture Eicher’s stronghold, need to wait & watch how market welcome these and how good is the Turbotronn series engines…
